Biography
Ethan Friesen, who hails from Landmark, Manitoba, is passionate about dirt track racing. He got hooked on the sport in the early 1990s while accompanying his father to Enduros and Street Stocks races. From an early age, the roar of engines, the joyous moments in victory lane, and the gritty charm of car mechanics fascinated Ethan.
Ethan’s dream of becoming a racer came true in 2013 when he joined the Pure Stock class. Over the years, he won ten times, including the Pure Stock championship at Red River Co-op Speedway (now Victory Lane Speedway) in 2017, racing for Rod Fehr Racing.
In 2018, Ethan transitioned to the Mid-West Modified class, which was a crucial turning point in his racing journey. He immersed himself in the intricacies of car setup, meticulous preparation, and invaluable interactions with fellow racers, taking every opportunity to hone his skills.
Ethan took on a new challenge in 2022 by joining the Modified class. Despite facing tough competition, he continued to improve his skills and is now ready for the upcoming 2024 season, where he hopes to achieve even greater feats.
